Help Samsung Galaxy S 2 Problem/Android

Hi there i am new to these forums but need help asap. i recently got a Samsung Galaxy S2 and i connected it to my computer using USB and Kies, there was a firmware upgrade so i clicked on upgrade, it got to around 8% then frozed so i just disconnected the device now when i turn it on i get the following symbol.

The phone will have to be re-flashed, you can either do it yourself using a program called odin or you can return to Samsung centre and they will do it for you.

There is also a counter which logs when you flash firmware yourself, there are ways to re-set this but if your not comfortable doing this you really should return to the service centre.

Ok thanks, yea people have been saying that it is probabely better for me to bring it to the service centre. I don't really feel comfortable doing this just yet maybe in the future when i get more knowledge surronding android.

Do you know anything about repairing it at the service centre, will i just need to bring down my handset or everything.( Accessories, documents etc)
