Samsung galaxy s2, 4.04 update, problem

Hey guys, first time, long time.

I got the 4.04 update today, through kies/samsung, but throughout today, my phone randomly turns off, its not the battery dying, it just turns off. and im constantly having to turn it on again.

Is this a known problem with a quick solution?

Have u done some undervolting? Happened to my sgs2 before. That time I'm trying to do uv to save battery life.

No i havent done any of that. I'm not sure but i noticed that the sim tool kit app is running in the background, and im pretty sure i havent messed with that before.

Pretty sure it is an error with the OTA update you installed.

You might want to perform a factory reset on the device. I have had similar issues like this with my device and a factory reset has cleared them all up

Be wary though, this does delete all of your data.
