I'm just posting this here because I noticed the Telus forum on this site doesn't get a whole lot of use, so it might get overlooked being posted just in that forum:
------------
I just got my Samsung Galaxy S2 today (ordered off eBay, shipped yesterday from Chicago overnighted via UPS).
Popped out my SIM and microSD card from my Motorola Droid.
Slid them both into the slots on my new Galaxy S2.
Turned on the power.
VIOLA! Absolutely no probs.
'Still have to go through the process of getting familiar with a fresh O/S of course, but that's nothing to do with the carrier. Actually it re-installed all my apps without me even noticing. I went into Market wondering if I had to re-download everything, and was happily shocked to see everything was already installed!
Anyway, to make a long post short - if you were wondering if the Samsung Galaxy S2 would work on Telus. Yes it does. Just take out your SIM/microSD from your last phone, and pop it into your Galaxy S2.
(I've tested already sending text and making voice calls).
'Hope this post puts some people at ease!
