Ok, so I posted about my GS3 having battery problems. I read all the replies and eventually factory reset my phone due to Android System killing my battery (lasting only 4-6 hrs). My battery was great for few months and now Android System has gone up to 35% and I believe the normal % should be around 5%.

    PLEASE HELP!!!

Note: All GPS, syncing, bluetooth are all turned off.

Have you checked to see if you have a wakelock of some sort using Gsam battery monitor or BetterBatteryStats?

    Yes, I turned wakelock off.

*you have to go into settings - apps - running - show cached - and then stop media.
    is it correct?*

    You turned wakelock off??
A wakelock is an app or a process that doesn't get killed normally by android and will continue to run in the background when it is not supposed to.
Some wakelocks are normal, but some process or app will act wonky and continue to eat your battery. That is where Gsam or BBS comes into play.
Either of those will be able to tell you, over X amount of time, what is running in the background that isn't supposed to.

Why do you want to stop "media?" Have you tried a reboot I assume? Or better yet, a battery pull, leave it out for a minute or 3, then put it back in.

    I'd highly suggest betterbatterystats.

The stock power app doesn't do a great job of telling you the whole story.

Remember a percentage is a percentage mate. Everything has to add up to 100 so say u have the screen on more, other thing's percentage will go down even though theyre using the same power they always did, the percentage will be different. Maybe youre just using other things less than before so that makes android system % relatively higher
