    If you are near a best buy, take it in to a Samsung rep and have them do a reflash for you. Probably just a software issue. If that doesn't work, start from scratch and if that doesn't work, return it.

    I'll try that. I didn't buy it from Best Buy so I hope at least look at it.

    It's not an issue with the SD card is it? as i noticed you have one installed.

    Nope I have removed my SD card and sim card, and the problem is still there. I believe I just have a bad device.

    You don't need to have bought it from there for a rep to look at it. As long as it's a Samsung phone or tablet, they'll look at it for free.
