    I can't gt photos to download from msgs..it just keeps saying downloading...pls anyone??

    You mean MMS? They can only be downloaded using network internet. WiFi wont work.

    which samsung tab do you have? is it a tab, tab 2 (7" or 10.1")

    depending on what you have i can move this thread to the right forum.

    also check your internet some pictures can take a bit to download depending on internet speed.

    I don't have any trouble downloading pics from net at all, just photos sent to my phone..they come in regularly of my granddaughter :thinking: so I really want them...

    Which app are you using to receive the messages?
    Also, to find out which tablet you have, head into Settings - About Tablet and the model should be listed there.

    And we are asking if you receive them as emails or MMS. Downloading from the net is a whole different thing than downloading MMS sent photos.

    If this is MMS(picture messages), it sounds like you haven't got the APN settings done, or they're incorrect. That's usually what happens, especially on phones that were not sold by the carrier. Some carriers have different APN settings, depending if you're a contract or a pre-paid subscriber, and if you have the wrong one, you can't receive MMS attachments.

    Who's your carrier? Because they provide the APN setting details. Once you got them, we can probably help you more. Sometimes the carrier can text you the APN settings, and all you have to do is open it and save. Depending on the phone and carrier.
