How can I copy my contacts from my phone into my sim card
look for an app called Contact2Sim on the market, but i have to tell you that on my samsung i7500 this sometimes works and sometimes doesn't
Or, don't. The SIM is a rotten place to hold contacts, it doesn't have a fraction of the storage space or functionality that the phone does. If you want to back them up, sync it with a Google account.
Pain in the arse if he's not going to another android phone though. Otherwise I entirely agree.
google sync supports other platforms as well
This. I moved from an E71 to android efforlessly thanks to the google sync support they had for symbian!
google sync is your friend
I've gone from a Siemens (S25) to various Nokias to a couple of Windows Mobile devices to Android over the years, transferring numbers betweens phones as I go; between Google and Outlook I've never, ever had to store contacts on the SIM in, what, ten years now.
I'm impressed. That's some track record!!
