Help Samsung Intercept can't copy images

I have read the threads concerning connecting to my PC through USB. That is no problem. However, when I drowse the directory and click on the DCIM directory I see the 14 jpg files that are listed. However, it will not let me view/move/copy them, either one at a time or as a group. The pc comes up with an error message "no files found" or similar. It needs to be noted that I can view all the images through gallery and send them to myself one at a time by email. I have tried everything I can think of many times - no luck, same message
