Help Samsung Kies not working

I have installed Samsung Kies 2.0.0.11044_11_3 which has been released in May 2011.

Installation has been successful. But when I launch Kies application launch window appears & an error stating Faulting Application occurs which forces Kies to shut down.

There are two error in application event viewer
1. .NET Runtime 2.0 Error
Faulting application kieshelper.exe, version 1.0.0.25, stamp 4db99486, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.1.2600.5781, stamp 49c4f482, debug? 0, fault address 0x00009823.
2. Application Error
Faulting application kieshelper.exe, version 1.0.0.25, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.1.2600.5781, fault address 0x00009823.

I am using Xp with SP3 & 512Mb RAM laptop.
Problem does not resolve even after reboot, reinstallation.

I dont know ,if this will work,but give it a shot
Uninstall KIES
Uninstall .net2.0 framework
Reinstall .net all versions with all service packs.
Try to reinstall KIES.

Did you try the 1.5 version.KIES is most stupid software on this side of planet anyway.

Ditch Kies...use Odin to update the phone firmware.
