Samsung Note 3 sync issues

Just purchased a Samsung galaxy Note 3.

Desk top is Windows 7

E-Mail and calendar is Microsoft Office 2007

I can't sync my calendar

Part of my (90%) of my contacts came through but not the balance

Right now, the major item that I need help with is syncing the calendar
