    I recently rooted my phone. After it became slow as sin, I attempted to unroot it. I didn't even get THAT far. The minute I plugged in my data cable, my computer tells me it wiped my SD card clean. I clicked nothing to prompt this. When I boot up the phone, it stays on the recovery screen. I "rebooted the system now", "wiped data/factory reset", & "wiped cache partition". Still nothing. At the bottom it says ;

    E:pATH: /data/update_success
    E:update file is backed up: not updated

    Any ideas as to what I'm missing on my SD card or how I could fix? Help would be very appreciated, I really don't wanna have to go back to BestBuy for an exchange.

    I would check the Odin thread in the root aection ... and just start over fresh... there are pre rooted versions there...

    And reformat your SD

    Ypur prob would become slow if rooted it not because of the lack of memory on the phone.. that is not the cause... the remedy is in the darktremmors thread in the root section
