Samsung has today started distributing this month’s security update to the unlocked variant of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in the US.
As noted in the official changelog, this upgrade is primarily aimed at addressing an issue that results in malware being installed on a handset if the SideSync application is activated before completing the Setup Wizard.
