Hi, I'm a newbie and still trying things on my tab.
Is there a straight forward way to drop things from the Tab memory to a sd card.
I am running a 32 Samsung micro SD card, card was fomratted on the tab.
I want to be able to put apps, pics and files to the card.
    Any help would be appreciated.

First off welcome to the forums :)

If your device isn't rooted then your best option would be to use an application like ApptoSD

    Hope this helps :D

    Thanks for the help.
The device I have is not rooted so it seems sensible to go for the AppstoSd.
How is the best way to get pics to the SD card?

you will need a file manager where you can either cut and paste or copy and paste. but pics should be automatically saved on your sd card. there should be a folder called DCIM where the photos should already be in.

Even with that app, I don't think you will be able to save apps to the SD card. Pictures will move but apps won't. It's one of a minor few Samsung tab 2 downfalls. Well maybe the only downfall
