Samsung Tab3 will not connect to email server

Samsung Tab 3 will not connect to email server. E-mails are served by Timetalk and their tech dept says the settings on the tablet are correct and to take the matter up with Samsung. Not a clever answer I agree but did anyone have the same problem and how was it resolved

Find out whether the receive side is POP3 or IMAP, and what authentication, servers and ports they use for both incoming and outgoing email. Then you can check to see if the phone is set to those settings.

Assuming that Samsung will work with you to get the issue resolved (Samsung devices connect with just about every type of email server out there, so it's probably not a Samsung problem), those are among the first questions they'll ask you, so you may as well have the answers at hand.

(Timetalk, unlike almost all other email providers, doesn't seem to publish their settings, so I couldn't get them for you.)
