Also, my Kies updated itself just now and I had previously checked a few days ago. When my phone connects Kies it now says "failed to connect to the model information server"
Same thing happened to me on my Win7 64-bit, I disabled my Norton Internet Security 2011, restarted the computer, restarted Captivate, Launch Kies, then plug phone in. That seemed to eliminate problems for me.
