I have a Dc and I want to move some mp3 files to the internal sotrage to use as ringtones. I want them on the internal sotrage becasue when I have the USB attached the SD card is not available so the ring tones got back to defaults. When I try to creta ea directory on the internal or copy a file to the data directory it says the copy failed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes basic ROM with just rooteed kernel and CWM, but Titanium gains root fine and I have been able to freeze some apps already. I was using ES File explorer to try and copy files.

I don't use ES, but make sure you are on r/w and not r/o then just copy ringtones to /system/media/audio/ringtones.

Just tested it using root explorer and seems to work fine for me.
