picked up my new s3 today and love it so far apart from the fact that icant set up the proxy details in the wifi section. Ive trawaled the net long and hard and cant find the difinitive answer to this problem.
I can see the wifi that i need to connect to and press and hold to open advanced options, set "manual" ,input correct details of the proxy, Http address etc and port number but cannot save these. the option to save is greyed out. Surely its not a software limitation or the option wouldnt be there. Where am i going wrong here.?? What have i missed here??
    Appreciate any help.

Works for ne now on 4.1.2 so long as I put the fqdn of the proxy and the port, so no good using a pac autoconfiguration proxy script which should negate the use of ports. I imagine android wouldn't know how to handle that anyway
