From what I am reading I take it you can not save single text message?

If thats so then why when I try and delete one it has an option to delete locked message?

    What is a locked message?

On my old phne I could save/lock a message and it would not delete unless I unlocked it.

I cant believe for such an advanced phone there is no way to save convos, single text messages or even back up text messages. Seriously an app waiting to be made. Make it!

There is a way to save a single message from what I have found since posting this.

Touch and hold a message then pick "Lock message".

LOL, I hate when people go wah wah wah and its right under their nose. Just like someone was crying about copying/pasting text messages. I said dude, um you have the option to forward the message. When the message pops up in the forward screen you can copy and paste the message. Most people do not need to copy/paste their text messages hence its not a function on the EVO.

I have a dilemma. I recently upgraded from the Evo to the Nexus S. I forgot to backup my text messages before the switch. How can I backup the text messages from the Evo and put them on my Nexus S. I tried using bluetooth transfer but couldn't get it to work add I don't know where the sms messages are kept. Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated...

When I try that, there is No Option for Lock message.
I would also prefer to save it on SD disk.
