saved contacts not shown

My handset is GT-S55302.Almost half of my saved
numbers are not visible in my contacts.When I receive
call from those nos. No.came with their names.When
I try to save them again they are not saving at all.
When I try to edit se contacts I Receive SNS Friend cant be
edited.What can I Do I am very frustrated.

Hi Manju and welcome to Android Forums!

It sounds to me like your contacts are not being synced to the phone.

Your contacts should be synced by Google. Go to Settings --> Accounts and select the appropriate gmail account. If you have only one account, select it and make sure that Gmail is CHECKED.
