How do I save themes that I have created using Go Launcher Ex?
I designed my first theme with icons, etc - I want to save it, work on a new one but come back to my original in the future.

    Is that possible?

I haven't made any go launcher themes myself but I am pretty sure it will involve making an APK for the theme. I have worked on several CM7 themes and it isn't that hard to do the signing. Try reading thru this thread at XDA for some help on exporting your themes.

From Homescreen, go to Menu button>preferences>backup/restore>backup settings. Make a backup. Look for the backup on the sd card, I think its in the GO Launcher folder, then move it some place else. If you want to restore a previous theme, move the backup file to the original location, then restore.

I did all that - phone said it saved successfully but now when I go to Files-GoLauncherEx- -- what would it be called? Paidthemes.xml?
Is there a way I can actually make my own names for my themes when I save them?

    Its in GoLauncherEX/db

You can't rename them otherwise they wont be read. You could make a new separate folder which you can rename to your liking. You have mo move these three files out of this folder otherwise they will get overwritten when you make a new backup.
