    Welcome sunnypatch!
Have you tried using a different charger/charging cord?
Which Asus transformer tablet do you have exactly?

Welcome to the forums, sunnypatch! :hello:
Which version of the Transformer do you have? With mine, it must be plugged into the original charger (not one for my phone) to charge. It also needs to be at least 20% charged to even turn on.
Hopefully we can help you out!
    Enjoy the site. :)

Edit: Mike, you just beat me

Ah, plug it into the wall outlet (hopefully you still have the original which is a higher output). The computer USB barely trickles any power out so it will take FOREVER to power the battery. Let it sit overnight if possible.

How old is the device? Perhaps a different charging cord?
I dont know much about it, and unless my eyes are bleary this morning, I don't see a forum for it here...but I did find some forum about it here:

Perhaps others will chime in here for you for help:)

Mike, I know my Prime absolutely won't charge unless it's plugged into the original charging block (and won't at all if plugged into my laptop). It is, I believe a 1.2 amp output (possibly 2amp, not sure if I'm reading it correctly).
