I too will be tempted, but just uped my contract, but will seriously look at this next renewal, if I do I think it will be ST with AT&T, as I have had TMo before here and was not happy with their coverage in S FL. Even though we don't have a contract, you end up paying full premium for your device, so it is a catch 22, unless you want to keep your old device and transfer that over, but sooner or later you will have to change phones
Jef, I be curious on your progress and your thoughts once you move, so keep us posted on your update.
I thought I was getting a SIM phone and dreaded it. But it turns out that it doesn’t have one... yay.
As for the service I ‘chose,’ there’s this, from some app I got. Didn’t see the answer in it, so I left it all in there:

From my ST phone with the ported number, I called *2 to make sure my involvement with Sprint was over. The screen said I was calling Sprint and the voice announce said I was calling Verizon... how
A few weeks later, I can say that ST coverage, no matter who it’s going through, works just as well as Sprint’s, perhaps a tad better. And the Ascend ll definitely outperforms the Optimus S, though that’s not a contest worth watching.
It’s nice to take a jump like this and wind up on my feet... wanna buy an Optimus?
