Currently I am loving Scanner Radio. I am on my local police, and am tracking a chase through my neighborhood...

any other good scanners you have found?

Well, I have a RadioShack PRO106 and have its audio streaming through a computer via the same scannercast application that sources the the icecast RadioReference feeds you are getting on that app. I receive my feed on my phone via the XiiaLive Lite app, but I really need some remote control capabilities.

Anyway, I'm probably taking your question too literally :D, but as for 'good scanners' that I've found, well, I just purchased a new GRE PSR500 scanner from ScannerMaster with $50 off in coupons for $398 delivered. That's probably not what you were really asking for, but it is a really 'good scanner' and since the Police in my area transmit digitally, I needed a APCO25 digital scanner to listen.

I would love to have that setup, however I will have to defer to the fine folks that offer their scanner feeds in the Market apps.

Scanner radio rocks. There was an incident in my neighborhood last week. I could see the officer speak into his mike and about 3-5 seconds later I could hear what he just said. Awesome app.
