Well, even though I'd been gentle as a baby, and even dropped this thing on hard wood floor, my first scratch comes from me reaching for the phone in my shirt pocket and my fingernail just scratching the top of the phone. :(

I hadn't the money or time to get a case yet, but I will soon. Is there any way to fix the scratch?

    Just like a car...

Now that it has its first scratch, you don't have to worry about it any more.

    I'm jealous. ;)

I'm a truck guy. I've dropped my Hero a couple of times already, on purpose. It actually looks almost the same as my truck now. I'm a happy camper! :)

It is a cellphone that will be worth about $45 in less than a year... not a priceless antique.
