I'm not rooted and I followed the instructions on this web site using Android-SDK and it worked for me.

Thats the one I used. It was pretty easy. You can also search youtube for a video to show you step by step
The weirdest thing..... I had to get a replacement phone and when all my pictures were transferred, I got screen shots of every webpage I had been on in my picture gallery. I have no idea how that happened! Good thing I only had the phone for a day or there would've been tons of screen shots!
