Help Screen disables

Hi every now and then i get this faint button on my screen. Looks like part of a wii remote. I attached a picture. The button is in the lower left corner. I'm able to move it but if i press it my screen dims and is disabled to where i cannot make any selections. I can pull down the top of the screen but again can't make any selections. I can use the external buttons but can't making any selections to power down or restart. After about 5-10 minutes my phone is normal.
Any thoughts to remove this?

Not sure why I'm seeing a lot more of that, but it's the Peel Smart Remote icon.
