Help Screen gone blank

Hi
When I make a phone call my screen goes blank after the other phone starts to ring.
There is no small box at the bottom of the screen for me to use the numerical pad or to terminate the call.
I have tried turning the phone on and off, but it is still happening .
Can anyone help please?

The power switch can be set to terminate the call (hang up). If it's not, it defaults to "turn the screen back on", and that's where yours is.

Finish the call, shortpress the power button and you'll get the screen back.

(It's a pain, but it's better than cheek-dialing while you're on a call.)

This morning I put a screen protector on my phone, someone told me that was the problem.

I took it of and all is well now
