Support Screen not working, please help!

    I've been searching the EPIC forums, found similarities but not the same as what I am experiencing. Yesterday, I had my Epic in my clutch purse while I was in the store, sent a text before I placed it there. Once I returned home, I pulled it out to check the time and the screen was blank. I assumed that the phone somehow shut off so I went to power it down and nothing! So I did a battery pull and went to power the phone back up and noticed that the sound worked because I heard the Samsung intro, but the led light did not illuminate nor did anything appear on the screen!!! I again did a battery pull, also found online how to do the hard reset to it and nothing worked because everything on the screen has become nonresponsive. Even when I hook it up to the charger, the led light does not illuminate [​IMG] So to final attempt, I pulled the battery out for 1/2hr and then replaced it before I went to sleep. Left it on the charger overnight. Woke up this morning and still nothing.
    Last I can add is last week, I downloaded the free app Words with Friends and have been playing it all weekend. That's the only recent thing I have done differently. I am very anal about my electronics so it's always been covered with a screen protector and a hard case. I don't drop the phone either.
    Can someone PLEASE HELP ME!

    Sounds like a hardware issue to me...possibly faulty connections...even if you do not have the sprint insurance, you're phone should be covered under a 1 year warranty, so Sprint may try to charge you $35.00 to look at/order you a refurbished one. However, im sure if you talk to customer service you can get out of that fee

    Agreed. My first epic did this same exact thing and had to have it replaced :-(
