I can only comment on the Incredible I once owned and what I saw in that forum. The answer is YES it will scratch and the INC screens were breaking very easily with minor drops. I would say a Zagg type screen protector is a must as is a good shock absorbing case.

Is the invisable shield currently the best screen protectors out?

Invisible shield is really rubbery. If you want something that's closer to glass then it's actually one of the worst protectors.

I've never had any issues what so ever with any device with a glass screen getting scratched. Iphone, hero and now the evo I've never used a protector and never had an issue.

I put a screen protector on after two days (I have had my device for a couple weeks) and it's scratched up! The glass is "like new" and I used it a lot those first two days.

I'm also a big fan of the Zagg unit. Its a self healing vinyl. If it gets scratched the scratch will heal and disappear in just a few days.

Does anyone have any tips on how to avoid getting my screen scratched up in the next few days? My stupid Clarivue screen protector is taking forever to get here. Should I just wear basketball shorts and put it in those pockets as opposed to jeans, etc?

Er, I'm a guy, no purse.
