Screen protector

On the Vibrant the guy at TMO told me it doesn't need a screen protector because the screen is "practically" scratch resistant. Was he just blowing smoke up my backside or do I really not need a screen protector to...well.... protect the screen?

I always use a screen protector because until screens are made of diamond instead of glass, they will scratch, and a screen protector can prevent that.

The screen is made of a very durable tempered glass.

well, to me, the positives outweighed the negatives. mine (ghost-armor) hasn't hurt the quality of the picture or slowed down the swype texting, so why not?
