I searched and since this is a new phone but still on gingerbread I wanted to see if there was any way to take screen shots without an app but if an app is the only way then which works without needing root access?

One thing I miss from my DROID Charge is the ability to take screen shots.

Anyone know of a good app from the market that works well on a non rooted Bionic?

I too would like to know this.

Also, how do you get the battery gauge to display in single digits instead of rounding to 10s?

There's an app in Android Market called, "no root screenshot it."

    4.5 out of 5 stars.

You can also use the Android SDK (which requires connecting to your computer) to make screenshots.

There's also "Screen Grabber" for screenshots and "Battery Circle" for single digit battery.

Some android handsets let u hold down the power and home button to take a screen shot. Works on my LG Thrill and brothers G2X.

They both show as compatible for me. And I've used Screen Grabber just fine.
