just got home from buying the inspire. very cool to say the least. ill give more input once i get adjusted to the phone. i am coming from the iphone4 btw.

my question is about screen shots. is there a way or app that will enable me to use screen shots. i dont know if its just me but i used this feature pretty heavily on the iphone only because it is so much easier to share things with other people.

i have downloaded shootme but it tells me something about ROOT and it wont open for me. any suggestions?

This is a good question. I also enjoyed that feature on the Iphone. Does anyone have information if the Inspire can do that?

I'm almost nearly positive you have to be rooted in order to use screen capture programs. A real bummer.

yeah almost all apps in the market for screen shots require the phone to be rooted. I found an app that works on my unrooted captivate but doesnt work on the inspire as it was developed for samsung galaxy s phones, I tried it and no luck.
