Help Screen Shots

Is there a screen shot method anyone has found without downloading an app?

I have found a few apps like, "screenshot" and "Shootme" but they will not work on Infuse since phone is not rooted(I have downloaded them both and a message pops up stating that).

At this time I do not feel comfortable rooting my phone since this is my first personal cell phone ever....I am 39...hehe.

Take care.

Hey, poolgod69, I was going through this forum doing the new thread-categorization thing and I read your post (I know this is a little old and you might already know the answer, but I thought I'd reply anyway ;)).

There are some apps that can do this without being rooted, but I do believe that it also depending on the phone itself.

That being said, you can actually take screenshots via the Android SDK's ddms.bat utility if you are willing to go through the hassle of getting that setup on your PC (Windows, Linux, or Mac are all supported). There's also usually the USB driver issues for Windows (not so much for Linux and Mac) that makes this a bit wonky too.

Just thought I'd let you know.

Cheers!

Your running 2.2 so u don't need to root. From the app store download "screen capture shortcut free". That's all u need and it works perfect.
