Does anyone else have this problem? I'm calling someone, the call goes to vm, I leave a message and the screen has shut off and I can't get it to turn back on. Usually I have to just take the battery out and reset it that way. Suggestions? Decent phone otherwise. Thanks.

Yeah hold it towards light and rub the proximity sensor with your finger it will come on. I have no idea why it's happening but for me it's driving me crazy.

Also you can try pushing the power button a couple times that works sometimes. What I try to do is once dialing turn off the screen with the power button then use the power button to turn it on. Glad I'm not the only one.

Thanks. I have tried the "on" button and once it goes into whatever causes it do to this, that button does nothing. Forgive my ignorance, but what is the proximity sensor? Or where is it on this phone?

If you have T-Mobile as your service provider try opening my t mobile app and running the tech support program.

This is my second LG phone I've owned first one was a Motion and now this one and I must say I love this phone. I'll take an LG over a Samsung any day for 2 reasons never had a problem with a LG phone but both Samsung phones I owned the Admire and a POS Galaxy S4G both were nothing but a problem on the POS Galaxy had to exchange it 3 times and had the same problem with all 3 every 20 hours the phone would lock up and I would have to remove the battery. Another reason LG is a better company with better products is unlike Samsung, LG actually keeps there smartphones updated with the latest version of Android. Also LG tends to give there customers internal memory unlike Samsung who for some freaking reason thinks 500 mega bites is enough
