Support Screen won't turn off.. Help :/

    My Galaxy S4's screen won't turn off when i press the power button, but when I hold it it shows power off/airplane mode etc So i know it still works.. Any suggestions of what I can do?

    What did you try? Did you first check your settings and make sure your "screen time out" is not set to "never".

    Other thing is you could try popping out the battery for 30 secs. or more, then putting it back in and rebooting? Then, how 'bout calling your carrier or Samsung tech. support? (They'll probably tell you to do a factory re-set.)

    Any of the real techies out there have any advice?

    A possible workaround would be xposed xblast module which gives you shortcut to turn off screen. That's not a "fix" though.
