I was using the Hola Launcher for a while, but decided to switch back to the Nova Launcher for my Hudl 2. I was using the Hudl as usual, locked it for about 5 minutes, went back to use it again and now the screen won't wake up.
If I press the lock button, the screen stays black for a second, lights up with a dark blue for 2 seconds, and then goes black again. I've tried swiping the screen while it's blue but it does nothing. It still charges, though.
Obviously I can't turn the Hudl off because to do so, I would have to unlock the tablet, which I can't do.
Is a hard reset the only way?
EDIT: I actually can't hard reset it because to perform a hard reset, the device needs to be powered off. -_-
