Screencast Isn't Working (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0) HELP!!

I am obviously new at this forum thing, so be patient ;D.

I successfully rooted my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 running 4.0.4 just to use Screencast (in order to record my screen).

When I open it up, it says could not access Superuser permission. Then, it asks for the permission, I say ok, close the app, open it back up, and it's all set.

When I try to record, it records sound, but no video. All I can see is a green bar going from the top to the bottom of the screen.

I'm also having problems with Screencast using Jelly Bean and galaxy tab 2 10.1. Everything else seems to be fine but the app is only recording audio, video is just a black screen.
