For the Casio 4G LTE, I had success in taking a screen shot by pressing the vol-down button and the power button at the same time.
Hope to save someone else some time.

This didn't work for me, but then again I've never been able to take a screen shot on my phone without doing it by mistake.

this si an android 4.0 feature.. should work on all devices.

hold them both for a few seconds. it will work.
