Help SD card and Google play music

Having had a good look about and not finding an answer to my problem can anyone tell how our why I cannot save music to my SD card with Google play music

An SD card is installed but all I get on Google music is as per the attached screen shot

This is really getting frustrating now as I am running out of space on my phone as I can't get apps and music to move to SD card

Some one please help

If you haven't tried it try SdCard fix from the play store. There are some issues with accessing the SdCard with apps that didnt come preloaded. I know this did but worth checking

Kitkat changed the rules on us.

The only way to directly store anything on the SD card is IF the info comes from the app that created the folder.

You can use a PC to put stuff in that folder, but I'm not sure if your phone will allow you to play the music once it is stored there.

I don't have an SD card, nor do I listen to music. Bum ears, everything is noise to me.
