So i configured my sd card as internal storage on my moto g3 but i can only move 3 of my apps to the SD card, whats the point then? Shouldn't i be able to install all / at least the user installed apps on the SD card when its formated as internal?

Once you select to use the SD card as an extension of internal memory, the phone will put apps and data wherever it deems fit: internal memory is generally faster than the read/write speed of an SD card. It's all ONE memory, so there is really no point in trying to move anything from one location to another.

    A major point though:

if you configure an SD card as "Internal Memory", and then that phone has problems and won't reboot, everything you stored on that SD card is lost to the winds.... EVERYTHING !!!

To me, it is insane to use an SD card as internal memory. You have just thrown away everything you own, if the slightest little hiccup occurs and that phone won't work.

SD cards configured that way are totally unreadable by any other device, a phone, a PC, nothing....
    Rethink your approach carefully....

Far better that you configure your cameras and other apps to Default to the SD card for document/picture storage.
Then there will be more than enough internal memory for apps to use...

I have almost 300 apps on my phone, and still more than enough internal memory for everything to work just fine.

    In my shell
Some app developers don't allow the option to let users to move the apps to the sdcard. That's why even some user apps don't have the option to be moved.
