Anyone ever seen this with a Droid X? What's the solution? It just appeared yesterday and now my SD card is inaccessible.

I had the same thing happen to my sd card last week. I never did get it to come back, could not even reformat it. I had to get a new on. Luckily I had backed it up to my computer just days before it happen. I just copied it onto the new one and was good to go.

First, I would try to back up all the files on a laptop.

Then, under sd settings, unmount the card. Shut the phone down, and remove the battery and the card. Re-install both, and boot up. If it's still acting up, try to format it.

That's about everything that I know of to do short of replacing the card.

Thanks, but no cigar. Looks like it's new SD card time. Rats, and I hadn't backed it up. Oh well, lesson learned.

What would cause an SD card to just poop out like that?

    Moved to support.

I did have one time where my sdcard wasn't viewable in my computer, but I was able to access it from a usb cable. :D
