I have a Droid version 2.2 with a US Verizon plan. I will be traveling to the UK and Germay and want to use my phone while abroad. I see SD cards available with US numbers and international numbers. Will these cards work in my Droid? If so, what companies/cards have people had success with?

Thanks in advance for all input.

I have not heard of this before. Are you sure you are not referring to sim cards which are different from sd cards? Brian

primary cell service in europe is GSM which uses sim (Subscriber Identity Module) cards(totally different from SD/MicroSD cards which are memory cards ). the Moto droid is a CDMA phone, ie no sim card. will not work without CDMA service. best bet would be to buy a disposable phone when you get there. maybe use the droid just for wi-fi access.

Thank you both for your responses. Will probably just go with the disposable phone over there
