Help SD card issue

Any suggestions please. I just swapped out my sandisk 16gb class 4 to my new 32gb sandisk class 10. I did not format just copied over my data from my old card. While everything works perfectly data wise. It seems to have no real performance gain in benchmarks or in realized speeds (using an SD card testing app).

Would wiping and formatting help?
If so exfat? Fat? Or ntfs?

Oh and btw this is a store bought card. This is not an ebay "special" so I know its a legit class 10

Personally, I would go with none of these in this case. You can format it directly in Android.
