on my new Ally (had it for 2 weeks i think now, mabye 3) i keep getting a message that says "SD card removed unexpectaly". I'm not touching the SD card, and all i have to do is pop it out and back in and all is well. whats going on? Also, how big of an SD card does the ally support?

it supports up to 16gb I do believe

as for the issue you have, I would exchange it if you can. That seems to be a hardware problem.

Ok, i'll have to take it down and have it swapped. Also the phone is really buggy software wise. Not sending messages, randomly rebooting, etc. any word on when 2.2 is coming for it )hoping that this resolves some of the issues.

If you haven't already taken it to have it swapped, I would try another SD card. You could just have a bad card, and you wouldn't have to worry about setting your phone up again.

I had my SD card go bad after 4 days in mine. I took it back to Best buy where I bought it and they replaced the SD card no charge.
