Hello just wondering if anyone can help me here, i've just upgraded my phone to 2.3.4 CyanogenMod 7.1.0-RC0 v2.0 M6 and i'm still using my old 2gb class 2 sd card and works ok but obviously it's not ideal for speed and capacity! i've just bought a new Kingston 16gb class 4 sd card but it doesn't get recognsed by the phone. Is there anything i can do to get this card recognised in my phone? Do i need to change the file system on the card? cheers in advance :)

    You'll need a class 6 or higher for 4GB+ cards. :\

I have a class 4 4GB card that works perfectly fine..

You'll need to buy a new card, with the right class for the size

It's not most of the time, the GT540 has support for up to 32GB cards with stock 1.6/2.1. People find that when updating to custom ROMs that SD card support goes out the window..
