SD card question

I bought a 200gb SanDisk SD card on from amazon & loaded it in my galaxy s7 . I formatted it when I put it in & put my pics & music to the SD card . Then I decided to switch some of my apps to the SD card . When I hit switch to SD card I get a message saying..

exporting ebay and it's data to SD card..

This will take a few moments. The app cannot be used while it's being exported

Do not remove the SD card during export .

Then nothing happens & it does not change or say it has been successfully done or get back option when it's done . It stays on that screen with that message . What is wrong is my phone or SD card defective ? Someone please help thanks
