I have a Droid 2 and a a 16 gb microSD card. I have about 5 gb worth of music on it and it now says that I have no more room to put any other items on it. What could be using up the other 11 gb?

try browsing through it and see

I had a similar problem, and I got rid of some of my backup files and downloads

might check your download folder, speaking of

do you install your apps to the SD card? my preference is not to do that, as the phone has 8 gb of storage that is more than enough for apps

I looked through all of the folders on the SD Card, and there was no item that was more than a MB or so. I'm not sure if they are saved on the SD card but there are folders with some of the apps that I have on the SD card. How would i transfer them back to the phone?

By playing around with some of the things on the SD Card, I found that when I delete the music off of my phone through USB via a MacBook Pro, they are removed from the music players but are still counted as space used on my SD Card. For example I had 300 mb left while still having 5 gb of music on my phone and after I moved the items to trash and disconnected the phone from the laptop, it still showed 300 mb of open space. Any suggestions on this?
