OK, I want to move from a 8gig to a 16 gig SD card. My phone is rooted and has numerous folders etc..on it. My question is
    1. Can I just Cope Contents from 8 gig-->DESKTOP-->To 16 gig. If not is there a process I need to do?

    Thanks for all help..

That's exactly what I did. I just copied all the files off one card right onto the other. I would format the new card in the phone first.

I'm about to do the same. I would format the new 16GB card first with FAT32 just to be sure.

AH ha...That was my next question. Thanks for replying. One more quesiton (not sure if it matters due to formatting), I am taking the 16gig from an old BB. Should this make any difference...?

So you recomend formating in fat32 first on the computer then using the phone to do another format?
I got in the habit of formating using the phone as i read on several forums that formating using a computer can cause it to not work well in android devices.
    Just double checking on that.

Either way to the original poster, once its formated correctly, you can then just copy all of your stuff back on to it.
I did this when i went from 16 to 32GB.
The only difference is i formated my 32GB on my phone and not the computer.
