I've got a Droid X and I'm still in the 30 day return window. For those of you with a Droid that have 2.2, is it now possible to search e-mail? I would think if that was enabled on the Droid, it would later be enabled on the DX when it gets 2.2.

    Thanks in advance!

    I'm on a Droid with FRG01B (2.2).

In Email, the search key does nothing at the folders view or at the message list view inside a folder. There is no menu option for search.

That's not true. Open Gmail and press the search button and it will bring up a menu to search through your mail.

Oe said Email another said GMail.

Since there is both a GMail app and an Email app, can we have some clarification as to which one is actually being referred to by the OP?

Good point, forgot about that. If it's for the email app I don't know and can't check since I don't have it set up on mine, but Gmail for sure has search.
