Do anyone have a file in the root directory of your SD card named search.trace? I have one that is about 8.5 megs. I took a look at it but it didn't look like the entries were specific to a particular app. Looks like some system log. Anyone know if there would be a problem deleting it?

I haven't seen this one, but just yesterday, I decided to clean up my sd card also. Here's what I did.

I copied the strange files to my laptop in a folder that I called Deleted SD files. Then I deleted them off the sd card itself. Rebooted the phone. Everything seems to be working ok. I'll give it a few days, and if all is still good, I will just delete the backed up files from my laptop. If not, then I have the same files to put back.

Sounds like a good plan. I will do the same. Thanks.
